Tune-O-Matic saddles
Most saddles in Tune-O-Matic bridges that we see on the market are made of a zinc alloy. They are made with a casting method of pouring molten metal into a mold. Because molten metal is exposed to atmospheric air during casting, the saddle made this way have many pores in its structure. Therefore, the quality is mediocre in terms of structural or metallic quality. If you look at it through a magnifying glass, you find the texture to be chinky or spongy. It looks so brittle and unattractive. Although this is the demerit, we know the merit as well; the casting method is suitable for making products of a complicated shape in large quantities at low cost. Using the die casting method of forming molten metal by applying pressure to it, which is a variant of the casting method, it is now possible to make a product of fine texture with the least gas entrainment thanks to the advance in technology. Tune-O-Matic bridges have very complicated shapes. To make them in quantities, the casting or die casting method is presently the only method we can use. If we cut Tune-O-Matic bridges out of a chunk of metal instead of using the casting method, the cost per bridge may be equal to the price of one inexpensive guitar. Though it may sound contradictory, how about spending more time and effort on making the saddle that is a key part in producing the guitar sound and directly receives the string vibration?

   
PR-01 for Japanese ABR-1 style Tune-O-Matic Bridge

It is applicable for the OLD TUNE-O-MATIC style bridge that is made by “TOKIWA”(You can see the stamped character of "JAPAN" on the reverse of the bridge body), Japanese parts manufacturer. String groove was formed on center of the saddle.
PR-02 for Vintage ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic Bridge
6 pcs. 4/40 thread Width=8.8m/m Height=6.5m/m Thickness=3.0m/m


It is designed to match Gibson®'s original bridge, “BR-010”. As same as original parts, it is not formed for string groove. After applying to bridge base, trim it to match strings pitch. You can use usual file for trimming but we recommend using diamond file.

PR-05 for Gotoh® Tune-O-Matic Bridge
6pcs. M2.5 x 0.45 thread Width=8.8m/m Height=8.0m/m Thickness=3.0m/m

It is designed to match GE-103B, GE-103BT which is made by GOTOH® (Japanese parts manufacturer) and which is used for replacement parts and/or relatively expensive models made by guitar manufacturers.String groove was formed on center of the saddle.

PR-06 for Nashville Tune-O-Matic Bridge

It is designed to match Gibson®’s original bridge, “BR-030”. As same as original parts, it is not formed for string groove. After applying to bridge base, trim it to match strings pitch. You can use usual file for trimming but we recommend using diamond file.
PR-01set Vintage ABR-1 Style Bridge Set     
PR-01 titanium saddles assembled with zinc die cast base. This bridge base is not Gibson®'s original parts. But it can be used as a replacement for the original Vintage ABR-1 Bridge. Also you can use this bridge on some of other manufacturer's guitar which has a Tune-O-Matic Bridge. Please refer to the drawing(clck on photo), and check the size of your bridge.

PR-06set Nashville Style Bridge Set      
PR-06 titanium saddles assembled with zinc die cast base. This bridge base is not Gibson®'s original parts. But it can be used as a replacement for the original Nashville Tune-O-Matic Bridge. Also you can use this bridge on some of other manufacturer's guitar which has a Tune-O-Matic Bridge. Please refer to the drawing(clck on photo), and check the size of your bridge. Gold plated bridge base is also available, but the saddles are not plated.
